Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will meet our friendly transfer guide at the airport who will transfer you to Tembo House Hotel, located in the heart of Stone Town. Tembo House Hotel combines historical charm with modern comfort, offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean and easy access to the vibrant streets of Stone Town.

After settling in at Tembo House Hotel, you can relax and immerse yourself in the charm of Stone Town, setting the stage for the unforgettable safari adventure that awaits you.

Traditional decorations are found in both the public areas and accommodation (rooms and apartments) and they give this place a real sense of local character. Watch the wooden boats (dhows) in the water just off the hotel's beach, swim in the pool and dine well in the restaurant.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with a pickup from Tembo House Hotel in Zanzibar by our friendly transfer guide, heading to Zanzibar Airport. Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will check in at the domestic flight lounge and then board a one-hour scenic flight to Arusha. Once you arrive in Arusha, our safari manager and guide will warmly welcome you for a safari briefing. You will then head to breakfast at Forest Hills Hotel (with the option to opt for a packed breakfast).

After breakfast, you will start your scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. If you need any last-minute items, feel free to ask your guide to stop at a supermarket along the way. Otherwise, you will head straight to the park.

Upon arrival, your guide will take care of the necessary permits, and you will dive right into thrilling game drives. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, and you can also expect to see majestic lions, elusive leopards, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, monkeys, and elegant giraffes. For bird enthusiasts, the park is a paradise with a wide variety of bird species to spot.

Around noon, enjoy a delightful picnic lunch surrounded by the park’s stunning scenery. After lunch, continue with more exhilarating game drives, exploring the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife until evening.

As the day winds down, we will transfer you to your accommodation where you can relax and savour a delicious dinner before settling in for a restful overnight stay.
